"Dispersed" features work by Eun-Kyung Suh. The installation explores the assimilation process of immigrants and their formations of ethnic enclaves in their newly settled areas. She uses sculpture and textiles to create patterns symbolizing these clusters and networks, as well as the geological patterns from immigrants' origins to represent havens where their culture can be preserved and fortified. Eun-Kyung Suh is an internationally exhibiting artist who received her MFA from the University of Iowa and currently teaches at the University of Minnesota.
