Nancy Floyd, Susan Graham and Felice House

Girls and Guns features the work of Nancy Floyd, Susan Graham, and Felice House. This exhibition explores relationships between women and firearms, subverting the notion of expected gender roles. Floyd's videos and photographs are intimate portraits of elite female competition shooters, Graham's porcelain guns are lacy and delicate in contrast to their potentially violent counterparts, and House's paintings replace the male heroes of film Westerns with strong female figures.

Nancy Floyd is an internationally exhibiting artist, and Professor of Photography at Georgia State University. Susan Graham attended New York's School of Visual Arts, and exhibits internationally. Felice House is Assistant Professor in the Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University, and is a curator, lecturer and nationally exhibiting artist.
