Rim Rift

Artist Jarod Charzewski shares the process behind his solo exhibition at BC's Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery

About This Show

"Rim Rift" is a large-scale installation by Jarod Charzewski, Associate Professor of Sculpture at the College of Charleston, South Carolina. His work is constructed of large quantities of collected objects, mirroring the installations created in our everyday lives through the inability to throw things away. Charzewski's art practice investigates the transferring of animate sentiments to inanimate objects, and how that perceived value leads to both pleasure and attachment, comfort and compulsion.

"Rim Rift" will be open to Broward College students, faculty, and staff to view in the gallery, and all viewers are welcome to visit the show online at www.browardvpa.com. In light of ongoing health concerns, there will be no opening reception, but you can register here for the Zoom artist lecture.

Artist Jarod Charzewski shares his process and insights - his solo exhibition opens November 19 at the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery on Broward College's Central Campus.
