Visual Arts Associate of Arts

Create something new and inspiring in two dimensions, three dimensions or digitally. Have your work featured in a unique gallery, museum or site-specific location. Find your path to becoming the artist you always wanted to be with our Sculpture, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking and Photography areas of study in the Visual Arts. Broward College’s Visual Arts program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).

Program Benefits

Students participating in this program are offered dozens of creative avenues to explore. While learning foundational skills important to their success, students develop technical as well as expressive expertise, learn to think critically about art and artmaking on a personal and global scale and prepare thoroughly for transfer to a 4-year institution of higher education in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Art. You are invited to learn new techniques, study Art History, advance your creative skill, establish your portfolio of work and propel your artistic journey with us.
